Hydroxyapatite makes up around 97% of your general enamel composition, and around 70% of the dentin (the bit hidden just under your enamel). Therefore, the gel acts as a booster and deposits synthetic nanoparticle hydroxyapatite into the dentinal tubules (the sensitive part of your tooth) and repairs compromised sections of enamel, creating a barrier and helping to reduce your sensitivity.
